Thursday, May 17th at 6pm

Join Dr. Paul Fuhrman from Advanced Wellness as he explains the benefits of adding detoxing to your regimen of health routines. Nekter Juice will be on hand to offer samples of their daily detox drinks as well as answer any questions about their ingredients. Dr. Fuhrman works to model health in his personal life through daily fun on a surfboard, living by empowering beliefs, and doing community outreach.

Saturday, May 19th 12-2pm.
Let your children be entertained by the professionals of Parties by Erin and Co.  The fun staff will entertain with costumes, games, music and more.  You can watch them play and enjoy lunch, coffee or a fresh smoothie. *Children must be accompanied by a present adult.

Thursday, May 24th at 6pm
Solo Guitarist Marcus Carmen plays mellow and enjoyable jazz, rock, classical and blues music to entertain all. Enjoy the Southern California weather, grab a meal and be entertained.

Mediums included but not limited to Fashion, Live Visual Arts, Live Entertainment and various unique mediums will take the stage to honor and highlight the convenience, wellness & wonderful taste that the Marketplace merchants provide.  Spinning the typical model of community support for the arts, ART OF LIFE curates an opportunity for Corporate and Creative Society to reverse roles.  We invite the public to experience an afternoon of Arts For Business in which empowered Artists support local trade and commerce, showcasing the PASSION in FREE ENTERPRISE.

The McAuliffe Middle School Jazz Band is a talented group of musicians who perform under the outstanding directorship of Chuck Wackerman. This hardworking, dedicated Band has earned many awards and placed first in several festivals throughout Southern California. They will be playing their upbeat groove to music on center stage so come enjoy the festivities.

THIS SAT.: 30-Minute Beach Cleanup, followed by the $250 SoCal Mustache Championship (real and fake) & the $500 Haute Dogs Poetry Contest.

OUR 156th CONSECUTIVE MONTHLY CLEANUP IS THIS SAT., May 19, 10 a.m. (arrive anytime after 9:35 a.m.), 1 Granada Ave., Belmont Shore in Long Beach, 90803. Free parking til 1 p.m. when you enter the beachfront parking lot at the end of Granada Ave. before 10 a.m.

CONFIRMED SO FAR:
- Doughnut Deli is bringing donuts to the May 19 cleanup. Yummy!
- Pure Imagination Community Theatre will be on-site to paint on mustaches (for tips) for the mustache contest.
- Every entrant in the mustache and dog poetry contests will receive a dog-themed prize from ORE Originals from our prize boxes!

Ultimate Z Self Defense Studio located in Long Beach will be here to introduce their talented team and show their skilled moves. Demonstrations will start at 1pm and they even welcome you to try some of your own moves on their punching equipment.
